Just received word that I finaled in CT-RWA’s Golden Acorn contest for a new work.  It is rough but I still finaled.  Need to polish the entry for re-submission to the final judge – an agent.   Guess I’ll be taking my laptop with to RWA National!  ∞

I’m a finalist in WisRWA’s Fab 5, historical category. A few years ago I backed off from contests, and a lot of my writing.  Now, as I make my big push in 2011, I’m entering a few again to motivate and hopefully gain notice.  This is my first contest this year – and I finaled!  🙂
